At HERA Foundation, we champion every student’s right to safety and equality under Title IX, providing information, resources, and support to shape responsive school policies.

HERA is one of the nation’s only student-led Title IX initiatives that bridges the gap between the rights young people are guaranteed and the protections they actually know how to use.

Our Mission

We equip girls with the information, resources, and support to understand their rights and shape the system. Every part of HERA is rooted in the idea that when girls are informed, supported, and given space to grow, they are able to shape their environments and move through the world with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Impact in Numbers

Drafted three bills, donated more than 1,000 books to domestic violence shelters, distributed over 1,000 Title IX policy briefs, established a community library with 200 weekly visitors, and established an upcoming fellowship in Zimbabwe and India.
