RSVP for The Act of Justice Conference
Join the HERA Foundation, FPA at UCLA, and LeGal for The Act of Justice, a free women’s empowerment summit exploring legal advocacy with the motive of transforming awareness into meaningful action. The summit will bring together speakers with experience in law, politics, advocacy, and leadership to share their perspectives on using legal advocacy as a tool for change.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network, hear from guest speakers, participate in workshops, and engage with a legal panel (announced through Instagram: @voiceofhera). An interactive policy workshop will also introduce students to ways they can develop, organize, and advocate for initiatives that create meaningful impact. Food and drinks will be provided.
Whether you are interested in women’s health, law, policy, advocacy, or community leadership, we invite you to join us for a day of learning, connection, and action.

HERA National Advocacy Summit
We recently hosted our first-ever HERA National Advocacy Summit, bringing together 40+ participants from 4 countries and 10+ states for a day centered around our theme, In Defense of Girlhood. It was so meaningful to have young advocates from different backgrounds come together to have thoughtful conversations about Title IX, advocacy, civic engagement, and what it means to truly protect and empower girlhood.

HERA’s “Her Era” UCLA Summit
We brought high school and college students together to create vision boards and explore how women’s friendships, mentorship, and guidance can shape and elevate their futures.
A heartfelt thank-you to our incredible panelists and co-sponsor, FPA UCLA, for helping make this event possible! With 45 attendees, we also shared Title IX and women’s health resources to ensure students left with both inspiration and knowledge to carry forward. Here’s to building futures together, one connection at a time.
Our initiatives
Recently, HERA held a Title IX kit workshop where students prepared Title IX kits containing Title IX resources, empowering children’s novels, school supplies, and goodies. In total, we made 100 kits worth $2000! 🙌
We’re proud to share that our team donated comprehensive Title IX kits to Walker Junior High School! Each kit was thoughtfully put together with a book, essential Title IX resources, stickers, a notebook, and pens… everything students need to feel informed and empowered.
HERA Library
HERA has officially established its first third space by launching a community library at NPC… now welcoming over 100 residents each week. This space was intentionally designed to give people access to stories that center women in all their complexity and power.
This is only ONE of our projects from the many book drives we’ve held. Every book in the collection highlights women who lead, resist, nurture, build, and redefine what strength looks like, from quiet, deeply rooted forms of feminine resilience to bold, unapologetic leadership.
Title IX High School District Policies
Through our Title IX policy advocacy, we have proposed 8+ policy proposals to Orange County school districts and delivered two public comments at district meetings to build community awareness, elevate student voices, and garner support for stronger Title IX protections.
